Working With Your Preferences

Every purchase of a home involves a certain amount of compromise. When you are working with a Realtor, it is important that you give your agent a clear idea which of your criteria is flexible and which items you really must have in your new home.

If you prefer a specific location, for example, discuss why you want to live in that neighborhood. The agent might be able to suggest alternative areas that offer the same amenities or conveniences. How important is

Showcase Stylish Storage Solutions

“The home needs more storage!” It’s a common gripe heard from homeowners and buyers. A home can never have too many shelves or closets.

Indeed, a majority of about 1,000 survey respondents said their number-one biggest annoyance about their home: “The lack of storage,” according to the 2015 HSH.com survey. Sixty-seven percent of survey respondents put the lack of storage as one of their top five annoyances about their home.

Healthy, Safe Snacks to Help Your Pet Slim Down

One of the most common resolutions made every New Year is to drop a few of those pesky pounds, but did you ever think that your dog might need to make this resolution, too? According to the Association for Pet Obesity Prevention, 54% of dogs and 58% of cats in the United States are overweight or obese. For many pets, a combination of increased activity and decreased calories in their daily diet can help shed those excess pounds.

Freshen Your Garden Spaces with Bright and Beautiful Foliage (by Home Depot)

Light up your gardening spaces, indoors and out, with foliage plants known for their patterned, textured or boldly colored leaves, in addition to blooms. Flowers may come and go, but foliage will anchor your garden and provide visual interest throughout the seasons.

Foliage quite simply means leaves, which can vary in shape, size, texture and color and are often more attractive than a plant’s flowers. Leaves can be green, of course, but also silvery or gray, yellow, or even

How much are you willing to correct with redecorating or remodeling? Are you willing to expand your price range by using an adjustable rate mortgage to increase your buying power?

We ask buyers a range of questions so that we can use their time most efficiently, showing them only houses that are real possibilities based on their preferences.

In all your listings, showing off the storage potential should be one of the top items on your to-do showing prep list.

And that obviously first brings you to decluttering. Not surprising, the less clutter, the bigger the space will appear. So that means hauling away most of  (More)

Outdoors, use foliage to light up dark areas and direct the eye. Masses of shrubs like bright yellow ligustrum in a landscape bed are an unexpected changeup from boxwoods; they play well with burgundy (More)

Sudoku The New Addiction!!

Just in case you've never played before. The object of the game is to fit the numbers 1-9 in the correct orders.

You need to fill a number from 1 to 9 in every blank cell.  A number must appear only once in each row, column and 3x3 block.

Sounds easy enough.

Don't give up. Once you get the hang of it, its very fun and challenges your brain.

(If you don't see the game on the left  please try refreshing your screen. You can use F5 or your refresh button.)
