The Walk Thru Inspection

Before the title transfer of your new home, you will make a "walk-through" inspection to ensure that the property is in the same condition as it was when the purchase agreement was drawn up.

Some sellers convey the appliances and major systems "as is," offering no promise that they will be in working order. Other agreements require all of the major mechanical systems, such as heating, plumbing, and air conditioning, to be operational. It depends on the

Chocolate-Covered Hazard: What to Do If Your Pet Eats a Valentine’s Day Treat

Love is in the air! It’s nearly Valentine’s Day, and many of us will be rushing out to buy something special for our loved ones. Perhaps you’re thinking of picking up some sweets? No one can resist chocolate around this time of year. According to the National Confectioners Association, a full 94% of Americans want to receive chocolate or some sort of candy for Valentine’s Day. Unfortunately, humans are not the only ones who like chocolate. In fact, in 2015, chocolate was number seven on the ASPCA Animal Poison Control Center’s (APCC) list of top pet toxins for the year. So, the burning question is, what should you do if your dog eats chocolate?

Every Rose Has Its Thorns. Find and Plant Your Perfect Rose. (by Home Depot)

It’s hard to resist roses. But choosing a bare root rose may seem tricky because the resting plants look like plain, brown sticks. And which container rose is right for you?

TIPS TO HELP YOU PICK THE PERFECT ROSE:

contractual terms that are agreed to in writing between the buyer and seller.

During the walk-through inspection you should check the appliances by turning each one on and letting it run a full cycle. This gives you a chance to make sure that any repairs that were to be made by the seller prior to title transfer have been made. These details are much easier to work out before the transfer of ownership than after you have taken possession of your new home.

Regulatory Reform

Right out of the gate, the House took a stab at regulatory reform, passing a measure that would give Congress more say in the rules federal agencies propose. The Regulations from the Executive In Need of Scrutiny Act (REINS) would require agencies to send proposed rules to Congress for a vote if they would have an impact on the economy of $100 million or more.

NAR supports the bill because it would increase (More)

First things first.

If you think your dog has ingested chocolate, assess your dog’s condition. Keep an eye out for any of the following symptoms:

  • Vomiting Diarrhea
  • Drinking excessively
  • Hyperactivity
  • Pacing
  • Shaking (More)

1. First, pick a spot for your rose with at least 6 full hours of sun a day and good drainage. If needed, add plenty of compost to improve your soil.

2. Look for roses recommended for your region. The Home Depot offers roses pre-selected for your climate.

3. Read the tags when you shop for bare root roses. They’re graded for their size and vigor. Grade 1 is top quality, followed by Grades 1½ and 2. (More)

Sudoku The New Addiction!!

Just in case you've never played before. The object of the game is to fit the numbers 1-9 in the correct orders.

You need to fill a number from 1 to 9 in every blank cell.  A number must appear only once in each row, column and 3x3 block.

Sounds easy enough.

Don't give up. Once you get the hang of it, its very fun and challenges your brain.

(If you don't see the game on the left  please try refreshing your screen. You can use F5 or your refresh button.)
